COSTA RICAN ART MUSEUM
In 2004, Jiménez Deredia designed a sculpture park for the Costa Rican Art Museum, which was the site of the country's former international airport. For this project, Deredia designed an architectural space that evokes the memory of the old airport, arranging two metal structures like airplane wings, each with a cosmic image of white marble in the shape of an arch aligned with the control tower. The space was designed to exhibit the widest range of Costa Rican public sculptures.
