I work with marble and bronze because they're like metaphors for life. When I'm striking and working a block of marble, I feel like I'm doing the same exercise the universe is doing.
JIMÉNEZ DEREDIA
When the bronze is melted in the crucible, when the material is transformed at a temperature of 1,200 degrees, I feel the transformation of a star that, like atomic energy, transforms the different minerals and materials. I feel that the solo, like a crucible, is related to the crucible I'm working with at that moment and the material I'm transforming into the sculpture.

Placing them in public spaces allows the public to come into contact with my works and art in general in an inclusive way.
