Located in San Rafael de Alajuela, Costa Rica, the Jiménez Deredia Sculpture Park is a unique space where monumental art merges with nature. This park houses large-scale marble and bronze sculptures, part of the Costa Rican artist's project, The Route of Peace.

The Route of Peace envisions the placement of various sculptural and architectural complexes in nine countries across the Americas. For each country, the master has created monumental artistic and architectural projects inspired by the circular element, present in the cultural memory of diverse populations and civilizations across the continent.

Some of the works conceived for this continental project can be seen in the Jiménez Deredia Sculpture Park. Deredia's creations, with their organic and symbolic forms, invite contemplation and dialogue with the natural environment, transforming this place into a true cultural sanctuary.
