CREPÚSCULO FOR AVENIDA ESCAZÚ

CREPÚSCULO FOR AVENIDA ESCAZÚ

In 2010, Jiménez Deredia inaugurated the monumental sculpture "Crepúsculo” in the modern Costa Rican complex "Avenida Escazú." The completed work weighs over 1,000 kg and measures 2.70 x 1.70 x 1.65 cm. The piece is inspired by women as icons of motherhood and life and by the pre-Columbian stone sphere as an ancestral symbol of the culture of his native Costa Rica.
