In July 2011, sculptor Jiménez Deredia inaugurated a monumental exhibition in the city of La Baule, in Brittany, France. The municipality offered the artist the city’s most prominent squares and public spaces to honor the career of the Costa Rican master.
A total of eleven monumental sculptures were displayed until October 2011 at key locations, including La Baule Escoublac Station, the Parvis d’Atlantia, Place des Palmiers, and the Esplanade François André.
