In May 2015, Jiménez Deredia opened an exhibition entitled "Time and Space in the Sculpture of Jiménez Deredia" on the Paseo de las Artes in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. The exhibition, organized by the Museum of the City of Arts and Sciences and the Gabarrón Foundation, ran until September 2015. The architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences, designed by the renowned architect Calatrava, became the ideal setting for presenting the Costa Rican artist's works. The circular and ovoid forms present in Calatrava's architecture and in Jiménez Deredia's sculptures accompanied the viewer on a fluid and harmonious journey that finds its origin in those organic, simple, and linear forms present in nature.
