Since February 2011, four of Costa Rican sculptor Jiménez Deredia's most iconic works have been traveling the world in the form of stamps from his home country. Correos de Costa Rica launched the "Works of Jiménez Deredia" postal issue, which pays tribute to the Costa Rican sculptor's artistic career.
The stamps feature four of the Costa Rican sculptor's most iconic monumental sculptures: "Genesis, Deep Memory," "Continuation," "Deep Memory," and "Couple."
The issue consists of 60,000 stamps.
