In November 2008, Jiménez Deredia inaugurated the sculpture "Continuación" (Continuation) at the roundabout between Via Aurelia and Via Unità d'Italia in Pietrasanta, Italy. The monumental 15-ton white marble sculpture is the first work placed in the city on a reflecting pool.

"Continuación" represents the being that raises the symbol of its own existence to the sky, the sphere that encloses life in continuous transformation.
