In June 2006, Jiménez Deredia opened a monumental exhibition in Florence, Italy. The artist placed bronze and marble works in the city's most prominent locations, including Piazza della Repubblica, Piazzale della Galleria degli Uffizi, the Boboli Gardens, and the Boboli Limonaia.
