Galleries Bartoux and the Municipality of Courchevel in the French Alps have been hosting an extraordinary art event called "L'Art au Sommet" (Art on the Peaks) for over 15 years. The town of Courchevel, at 1,850 meters above sea level, and the surrounding mountain peaks are enriched by monumental sculptures by the most important contemporary artists. Salvador Dalì, Jean Michel Folòn, Fernando Botero, Bruno Catalano, and Lorenzo Quin, among others, have exhibited in this unique setting.
From December 2023 to May 2024, the exclusive town of Courchevel has chosen artist Jiménez Deredia to create a dialogue with the power and beauty of its extraordinary snow-capped mountains.
