DEREDIA IN THE FRENCH CITY OF
LA BAULE, BRETAGNE.
The 10th of July 2011, the sculptor Jiménez Deredia opens a monumental exhibit in the city of La Baule, in Bretagne. The City offers to the artist the most important public spaces and squares with the aim of honoring the artistic career of the Costa Rican sculptor. 11 monumental sculptures will be shown until the 10th of octobre 2011 in the "Gare de La Baule - Escoublac", in the "Parvis d'Atlantia", in the "Place des Palmiers" and in the "Esplanade Francois André". DEREDIA
IN PANAMA CITY
The 25th of October, the sculptor Jiménez Deredia opens an important exhibit in Panama City entitled "Jimenez Deredia and the symbolism of the sphere" From the 25th of October until the 31st of December 2011, the Costa Rican artist will show 22 sculptures in marble and bronze in the important gallery of the capital city "Legacy Fine Art". In this occasion, the Costa Rican sculptor presents his latest creations that are linked to a new circular concept where figures emerge breaking circles like in a birth. The new oneiric concept of Jimenez Deredia can be observed in figures that are floating in a synthesis of the moon showing the alchemistic sense between the transmutation of the sun and the moon that functions as a mirror.
